From the airport

Transfer facility is readily available at the airport in two ways:
i.    Taxis can be easily hailed if you are familiar with the city and know precisely where you want to go. A single cab for 1 to 3 people to any hotel within the city costs around 3500 KZT.
ii.    You may opt for a car rental booth to drop you off at your location – a one-way trip for a one-time fare. Or you may hire a car from these booths for a few hours, a full day, or a longer duration of time. These include:
1.    Kaz Tourism: a small car (KZT 13200), minibus (KZT 30000), or large bus (KZT 42000) can be hired at the booths. A limousine service is also available on hourly fares.
2.    Rhino Car Rental: international company, so provides more benefits and generally more luxurious vehicles, but is consequently more expensive.
3.    Alma Travel Agency: a variety of cars for single users or groups. Fares may differ from competitor companies, so be sure to check out at a few booths before deciding on which car to hire.
