When to go

The best time to visit Bahrain is between November and March; when it’s not too hot. The summer months are not a good time to go to Bahrain as May-September is very hot and humid with the dry summer winds bringing sandstorms. Similarly, October-April is only just bearable.

Also, avoid visiting Bahrain during Ramadan, as life slows down considerably. And, during the Hajj and over New Year’s Eve as accommodation becomes very expensive and hard to find.
In addition, if you are looking for reasonable rates do not travel to Bahrain during the annual Formula 1 Grand Prix held in April as hotels have been known to quadruple their charges.
