At the start of late October, Bucharest is filled with melodious tunes and compositions that make the entire city come to life. Sonoro, a music festival, is a relatively new event that started in 2006 but has fast gained popularity with Romanians because of the classical, chamber music that is played for a fortnight. Every year the event is organized with a different theme along which performances are arranged and fresh music is composed by talented artists who hold concerts and gigs all over the city. Entry for the festival is paid, however, concessions are offered with conditions applied.
