Bug Bites and Wildlife
Flies and mosquitoes are very prevalent in Cairo . If this is a cause of concern for you, make sure to bring bug repelant or buy some upon arrival.
You should, however, be wary of the stray animals because rabies is a serious problem in Egypt . In deserts and rural areas, you may encounter a snake or scorpion.
