La Estancia

Originally a colonial style coffee house owned by Bolivar’s family more than two centuries ago, La Estancia is currently a small but attractive museum nestled between splendid gardens.
The museum contains some striking works of modern art – photography, 3D animations, graphics arts, industrial technology design, all inside rooms with traditional hacienda décor and illumination.
The museum also offers guided tours.
After the adventure inside, rest your feet and your mind on the external porch as you sip on hot tea or coffee, listening to live music that is often played there on weekends.
