Copenhagen marathon
The annual marathon race attracts participants from all around the world. It requires participants to race on a traffic-free course which runs through Copenhagen’s most famous monuments. The race track starts and ends at the Royal Library where spectators gather around to applaud and cheer the racers. The race normally begins around 9 30 am.
