Copenhagen City Hall

Established in the late 18th Century, the Copenhagen City Hall is quite famous for its blend of Italian and Danish architecture. The hall is not only used for political meetings and events but is also devoted to organize civil weddings. The entire place is decked out with various paintings and sculptures of famous political figures and monuments. A striking feature of the city hall is the huge astronomical clock called Jens Olsen’s World Clock which consists of 13 different clockworks showing the precise time from the world over.
