Different styles of rock and heavy metal music meet on one stage at the Desert Rock Festival, the only one of its kind in the Middle East. What started off on a small scale as a three-hour show in 2004 has now grown to become a two-day event, a proof of its popularity. Over the years, this event has featured big name rock bands from around the world such as The Darkness, Machine Head, Iron Maiden and Velvet Revolver to name a few.
