Aquaventure Water Park
Located in the Atlantis Resort at the crown of the Palm Jumeirah, the Aquaventure water park is a great family entertainment venue. There are many water slides to enjoy. Most notable is the Leap of Faith, a 27.5m tall and 61m long slide from the top of a ziggurat down through a shark tank. There are also several longer river rides, plus all the usual trappings of a water park. Cabanas are also available for rent, if you want a more private experience. The attached Dolphin Bay offers an unforgettable swimming with dolphins experience.
The one drawback is that everything is very expensive. Towel and locker rental will set you back 50Dhs. Food and drinks are also pricey. Entry is free for guests at the Atlantis, though rentals are not.
Is it better than Wild Wadi? Aquaventure can be a little less crowded, but the rides don’t stand out as much as the ones at Wild Wadi. Aquaventure is a bit pricier as well, but in the end you can’t really go wrong. Still, there’s no need to hit up both unless you have free hotel entry to one.
