The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest mall in terms of retail outlets space leased. It opened in Downtown BurjDubai on November 4, 2008 with over 1,200 shops. Dubai Mall is home to Dubai Aquarium and Under Water Zoo (which holds the Guinness World Record for Largest Acrylic Panel. SEGA Republic is an indoor theme park which is found at Dubai Mall as well. There is also an Olympic sized indoor ice rink on the ground floor. High fashion designer labels, such as Chanel, Gucci, Tiffany and Co. Burberry, DKNY and more; as well as international fashion brands such as H&M, Mango, Zara are all located in this massive shopping mall. On November 2009 the largest sweets store in the Middle East, Candylicious, opened here as well.
