Gallaghers Boxty House
One of the few fine dining restaurants to serve fully authentic Irish food, Gallaghers is a must-visit for tourists seeking traditional Irish food. Conceived by Padraic Og Gallagher, the restaurant was opened as a way of sharing traditional home-cooked meals and recipes to the people of Dublin. Some of the famous visitors that Gallaghers has attracted over the years include members from popular rock bands like The Rolling Stones and The Corrs. Boxty, the famous Irish potato cake, is a recommended dish at the restaurant, along with the stew, fish and mash and pate.
