Frankfurt Book Fair

Held in late September to early October, this is perhaps the largest book fair on the planet! Here people of all ages and from all walks of life can find books to their liking. The event has a long history dating back to 1485 when books and printed writings became more common on the market. Due to immense popularity visitors have to buy a ticket of 12 Euros for entry on the last two days of the fair, Saturday and Sunday, when the fair is opened to the general public.
