Geldmuseum
Perfect for anyone curious about the way money works, Frankfurt’s Geldmuseum, located in the Ginnheim district, offers an exciting exposition of the history of money and a look into the economic side of Frankfurt. With a unique 6-themed approach to the exhibitions, the museum lay-out takes visitors through different “stages”, which each deepen your understanding of money by presenting exhibits that function to answer various questions. These topics range from what money essentially is to explanations of the structure of the central bank, monetary policy and foreign exchange policy. Visitors will be enlightened by lectures, fun games and discovery tours and can leave with books and souvenirs from the museum shop.
Admission is free for everyone.
