What to do with children in tow Hong KongAs Hong Kong boasts of both the Disney land and Ocean Park, children all over the world will always enjoy a visit.
Besides this all tours are child friendly and quite interesting for children. To take a cruise by day or night, dolphin watch tour, just play on the beach, or go for some water sports, the best being on Lantau, is something all kids love to do.

The botanical and zoological garden have lots of interesting aspects for children. The Science and Space Museum are both interactive and made very interesting for children. These AC museums are a good idea on a hot afternoon and are educative with fun for all age groups. The admission fee is very low.

A boat ride to the floating Jumbo Restaurant in Aberdeen is an option or a trip to Rainbow Seafood Restaurant, where again one is transported free by ferry from Tsimshatsui or Aberdeen.

A bicycle ride on hired bikes in Cheng Chau or Mui Wo in Lantau after a ferry trip is again interesting for older children. The villages, restaurants and quaint shops give the children  a feel of old Hong Kong. The beach is also in this area.

If children like to go hiking then the mountain trails are a great hike. Lamma Island in the outlying islands has some nice trails and children will love the ferry ride to this place too. Closer by, northern Kowloon has many great trails and terrain for hiking.

Teenagers have options from ice skating to art jamming, from paintballing to air shooting, bowling to just walking down Causeway Bay- a great ‘hang out’ joint for youth.
