Driving Tips
One can drive in Hong Kong on an international license or country issued license for a temporary period, i.e. not beyond 12 months. If the license is in any language other than English or Chinese, a full translated version is required.
Hong Kong follows the British system of driving on the left of the road and overtaking from the right. Seat belts are a must for both front and back seats.
Hong Kong rules are fairly strict for drinking and driving and for reckless driving, with long prison terms.
