Maropeng

Maropeng is a new exhibition center that focuses on the evolution of the human race and how we have affected the planet. It consists of a boat ride through a series of tunnels portraying volcanoes, icebergs, and other basic elements of the earth and then to the beginning of time and then the present day. It highlights the formation of the continents, man’s emergence and evolution, emergence of technology and the development of the planet as we know it. This is one of the best places the city has to offer and a superb learning experience for both kids and adults alike!
