The London Mela is one of the largest celebrations of Asian music, culture and creativity outside the Indian subcontinent. A one day festival (held in the summer – late August or early September) it offers music, dance, films, fashion and lots more to all visitors. Entrance to the event is free and there are even specially designed activities just for children.
There is certainly something for everybody, so be sure to visit even if it is just for the carnival spirit!
