V&A Museum of Childhood
The national museum of childhood is a branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum. The museum has an extensive toy collection that comprises dolls, games, puppets, toy houses etc. The museum also has exciting costumes for children in addition to fun filled weekend activities and competitions.

Imperial War Museum
The museum is dedicated to exhibits from the First World War to the present day. Walk in and be transported to the world of soldiers and their wars and combats. Science Museum
The Science Museum, which is a part of the National Museum of Science and Industry, features an engaging and spell binding collection of exhibits, from Stephenson’s Rocket to the Apollo 10 command module. The O2

The London Aquarium

One of Europe’s largest displays of aquatic life, the London Aquarium is home to fascinating sea creatures including two-meter-long sharks, piranhas and seahorses. The Sherlock Holmes Museum

For Sherlock Holmes fans, make sure you make a stop at the fictional characters  home-cum-museum on Bakers Street. This address that actually doesn’t exist, was the Victorian House where fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson lived  between 1881-1904, according to the stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The house is open as a museum dedicated to the life and times of Sherlock Holmes. Take a step back in time as you wander through the interior which has been maintained exactly as described in the stories. The first floor study overlooking Baker Street is still faithfully maintained as it was kept in Victorian Times.
