All over Madrid, parades, feasts and festivities mark this religious anniversary of the day when Jesus was taken to the Temple in Jerusalem by Mary and Joseph. The celebration comes in the form of farmers carrying wooden bulls and bullfighters adorned in colorful garbs entertaining the city by amusing mock bull fights. At the end a wooden bull is killed at town plaza and sangria (a red wine based Spanish drink) is served to all.
