The Gran Melia Fenix

Hotel

The Gran Melia Fenix opened in 1953 and has had quite a large number of celebrity guests over the years. The list includes the likes of Cary Grant, Bill Clinton, Antonia Banderas, Cindy Crawford, Rafael Nadal and David Beckham.

Perhaps their most famous guests are The Beatles, who held a press conference at the hotel on July 1, 1965 and then stayed in four luxury suites during the time of their one and only concert in Madrid. You’ll even hear a few of the locals today refer to it as ‘The Beatles Hotel’.

It’s a five star property that’s almost a landmark in itself. Expect five star hotel amenities coupled with staff that will treat you like royalty. They’re used to it, considering the clientele they are used to dealing with.
