From the airport

Madrid is easily accessible via  air. The main airport known as Madrid-Barajas is 15km from the city center. One can go to and fro from the airport either by subway, taxi or bus. The airport contains two subway stations and plenty of easy to catch bus stops. It can also be reached through metro connection Nuevos Ministerios within 12 minutes. The airport bus operates  to Plaza de Colon in the city center. AeroCity minibus service offers door-to-door facility that is easy on the pocket. A shuttle bus service connects terminal 4 to the other airport areas.
