When to go
Alive with activity all year round, Mexico City offers visitors a perfect vacation getaway with so much to offer in terms of its rich cultural heritage, in the form of museums, artifacts, and hand crafted souvenirs, not to forget the scrumptious variety of local and contemporary cuisine.
The best weather to visit the city is around October to May. Temperatures are mild, and rainfall is light. You can get to see most of the city’s hotspots without fear of heat strokes from walking two hours straight while on an exploratory expedition. December and January can be quite cold, but pleasant nevertheless, and can give romantic opportunities for basking in the sun after walking around in the city’s lush parks, open plazas, and sprawling architectural sites.
June can be quite hot and July to September very wet, and should best be avoided, as travelling outdoors becomes quite a nuisance.
