Moscow’s Metro system is magnificent. It covers all of Moscow and travel prices are affordable. The only disadvantage is that the signs inside the stations are not in English. This should not be too problematic- maps are color coded and visitors can easily memorize what the name of the station looks like in Russian. There are 11 lines operating from about 170 different stations. The Metro is the most efficient and most convenient way to get around Moscow.
