This stark and simple hotel is quite popular as it is situated in the heart of the old city. Even though the rooms are small, they are modern and neat. The unique and ‘nostalgic décor in the lobby sets it apart from other hotels. The owner, Harald Herrler has decorated the walls behind his reception desk with photographs of friends or former guests, including the late Viennese chanteuse, Greta Keller. While having breakfast here one is likely to bump into opera and concert artistes as the hotel is in the vicinity where they perform.
