If there is a bit of time and you are not averse to driving or flying to Mombasa, then the Mombasa Carnival is a must see. There are a huge number of floats representing innumerable races and cultural groups. The air buzzes with festivity. There is music and dance, Kenyan cultural performances, shopping and fun.
