Hauz Khas is one of South Delhi’s elitist areas made popular with the unusual Hauz Khas Village shopping complex. The entire area is dotted with stone monuments, tombs of minor Muslim royalty from the 14th to the 16th centuries. Wander through the winding streets and alleyways and you’ll chance upon converted old homes that house art galleries and exclusive boutiques selling everything from designer clothing , footwear, jewelry and handicrafts to old carpets, kilns and furniture.
Several excellent restaurants also abound in the vicinity.
