Visa Information
WHEN TO APPLY?
From Sunday to Thursday; 8:30 am to 11:00 am.
From 2:30 to 3:30 pm; handing back of the passports only.
NOTE: The visa section takes a quota of files and might close before 11:00 am.
FEES: Equivalent in Dirhams to 60 €.
WHERE TO APPLY FOR THE VISA?
The applicant must himself apply to the consulate of the country of his main destination (that is where he/she will stay the longest period during his stay in the Schengen states or, if the stay is equal in time in two different countries, in the consulate of the country he/she intends visiting first).
The Schengen visa allows you to travel inside the Schengen space which covers the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden.

– Germany
– Netherlands
– Denmark
– Finland
– France
– Italy
Minimum 15 working days in advance if you are a citizen of one of the following countries:
Afghanistan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Colombia, Congo, North Korea, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
For the following countries, the applicant will have to wait between 5 to 7 days:
Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates
The French Consulate in Dubai can only accept files from residents in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday from 8h30 to 13h00, and by appointment between 13h00 and 15h00. Meetings are possible on Mondays between 8h30 and 15h00, by appointment only. The visa section is open from Saturday to Wednesday between 8h30 and 11h00.
