Les Grandes Eaux Musicales

Musical events held at Versailles are a very popular attraction in the month of April. The fountains of the palace start spraying water with the focus being on the Neptune Fountain, which sits at the front of the château. The garden oozes with the compositions of famous French composers as well as Mozart or Haydn, whose careers were earmarked with success during the palace’s construction. This is undoubtedly one of the best events in the world highlighting the symphonic resonance of these classic compositions combined with such an ambience. The event is held every Saturday and Sunday between April and early September.
