Taxi

 Rio’s taxis are quite fast and handy for getting around the city. Metered taxis start at R$4.30 flat rate with R$3 for each kilometre – they are usually a little more expensive at night and on Sundays. Radio taxis are 30% more expensive but are considered safer. Some radio taxis listed here are:
