From the airport
Sana’a houses one of Yemen’s eight airports.
Offices of the national flag bearer, Yemenia Airlines, can be found at various locations around town.
The most convenient form of travel from the airport to your place of stay is by taxi. These can be found lolling around at the airport. A taxi from the airport to the city center would be likely to charge as high as around YR 800-1000, so negotiate the fare before getting in – opportunist cabbies are the first tourist trap most visitors will be likely to encounter once they set foot in Sana’a!
