Shanghai Ocean Aquarium
This fantastic aquarium showcases underwater creatures from around the globe; sharks, jelly fish, sea lions, dolphins, otters and different varieties of fish are all on exhibit here. The observation tunnel is brilliant and all that separates the visitor from these fantastic sea creatures is glass.

Shanghai Science & Technology Museum
This is an interesting museum and popular amongst tourists and locals alike. This will make for a fantastic outing for both children and adults. The concept behind this is for visitors to engage with and interact with the exhibits. This is a good way to learn about the earth and its resources especially via simulations.

Century Park
This park is popular amongst locals who come to while away the weekend here. It is fast becoming a tourist hot spot as well. The park comprises of a garden, a man made beach, a mini-golf course, a bird protection area and a lake where fishing and boating is allowed .

Shanghai Circus World
Shanghai’s famed troupe frequently conducts acrobatic, circus and magic shows at this venue. These performances are excellent and often feature lions, elephants, pandas and tigers.

Dino Beach
This is a renowned water park, the largest of its kind in Asia. Be sure to spend the day here. Adults and children alike are bound to enjoy it considering the variety of rides there are to enjoy. These include water slides [one of these is as long as 500 feet!], an absolutely massive wave pool, swimming pools and water sports such as water polo and volleyball.

Aquaria 21
This renowned aquarium in Shanghai is an exciting place for children to be where they can explore and gaze at wonderful dazzling underwater creatures. Penguins, sea horses, turtles and rays are all there in addition to the usual sharks. The unique feature of this aquarium is its touch pool where children can touch and join crabs, urchins and starfish. Scuba diving can also be learnt here.
