Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race

A world famous 60-year-old competition that takes place on Boxing Day (December 26) and draws in competitors ranging from pros to your average Joes. The competition includes an over 630 nautical mile race that begins at the Sydney Harbor and ends at the Derwent River.
