A good choice of accommodation for a few days would include the La Maison Doree located near the Place Barcelone. The hotel has small but clean rooms that provide the basic necessities for visitors and overlook the main city. The noise from the tram and busses can get uncomfortable and unnerving but the faded colonial charm of the building manages to attract quite a few tourists every season.
