Comprising of lines of tables set in 2 lanes by the Zaitouna mosque, Mahdaoui has excellent local food served by the minute. The dishes have a rich Tunisian taste to them even though they are a bit greasy.  The menu is very simple each day with a few specials, however with the amount of people dropping by; the best food is on a first come first serve basis.
