A very convenient and enjoyable way to get around town is to take one of the four lines of the light metro that interchange at the city center. These metros are a relatively new system established in Tunis and so they have a well organized route and buses leave various stops every few minutes. Therefore, if you want to glance around town while traveling make sure you pick a suitable time for one of these bus rides.
