Kaz Sushi Bistro
Cuisine: Japanese
The chef here uses many clever combinations to separate the sushi from the usual fare. The restaurant is known for fresh ingredients. Set in a handsome town house, this is the best place for sushi in the Washington area where you can sit down and watch the chef and his staff prepare your order.
The chef here is one of the few trained to handle torafugu, the blowfish, which can be poisonous if not cleaned properly. The blowfish if available is served in winter. This is also the place to come for premium sakes and a large selection of teas. Hours Mon-Fri 11:30am-2pm; Mon-Sat 6-10pm
