Insurance is necessary when hiring a car. The minimum age is generally 25 years for renting a car. Some companies will hire cars to drivers aged between21 -24. Possession of a valid driver’s license is a must.
You can find all the usual car rental operators downtown or at the airports but it would be advisable not to drive around yourself because of the bad traffic conditions.On the bright side, all tourist sights are within walking distance of public transport.
