is one of the most famous annual festivals held in Zurich. The festival symbolises the end of winter and the main feature consists of the burning of the snowman effigy, Boogg. The festival kicks off with children, men and women parading the streets in traditional Swiss outfits and at the end of it, the snowman effigy is set on fire.
