(usually held in the second week of August) was started in 1992 by Marek Krynki, a student, which he said was symbolic of love, peace and tolerance. The parade begins early afternoon and people from all walks of life participate, dancing all through the day to the music emitting from the ‘love mobile’ sound systems. There are parties all over the city and special trains and coaches run through the day for people who wish to join the procession of dancers.
