What to do with Children in Tow AthensNational Gardens

This is a wonderful place for children to play in. The gardens are vast and dotted with a number of duck ponds. Attached to these is a zoo as well.

Attica Zoological Park
This park will be of great interest to children as it is home to about 2000 birds of over 300 species. Farm animals are also kept there. In addition there is a wonderful butterfly garden.

Allou Fun Park
This is a wonderful amusement park with a number of excellent and often thrilling rides. Open till late at night roller coasters and Ferris wheels are just the things that children and adults alike will enjoy.

Hellenic Cosmos
This should be the first stop for travelers with children. The concept behind this museum is brilliant and children will not be bored. Instead of viewing stationary relics and artifacts, visitors can embark on 3-D journeys through different parts of Athens that are historically significant such as the Ancient Agora. Adults and children alike will get a good idea of Greek history and culture via interactive exhibits.

Mount Likavitos

Goulandris Museum of Natural History
