From the airport

There are many taxis available outside the terminal, but they tend to overprice foreigners. Therefore, it is better to phone for a metered taxi service, which costs around BD 3 to the city.

Many international and local car rental companies are represented at the airport. Rental car desks are conveniently found in the public arrivals lounge on the ground floor of the terminal of the Bahrain International Airport.

Many hotels provide free transportation for tourists from the airport to the hotel in the form of courtesy buses. Visitors should request the hotel management for this facility at the time of booking.
