Abu Dhabi Airport Passenger Traffic Increases 8.1%

Passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport rose 8.1% for the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year. In June passenger traffic at the airport increased 7.9%. India continues to be the airports biggest market and main driver of growth with 12.5% year on year increase in traffic. Pakistan is still the airports second largest market with a 7.6% increase in passenger numbers. This makes it the third largest market for Saudi Arabia. London continues to be the airports’ busiest destination in June with a total of 41,748 travelers followed by Doha and Bangkok.
