Safa Airways began operations in the last half of 2006. Fare for the new route to Abu Dhabi start from $99 for a one way ticket. The new route will give Abu Dhabi a direct link with the capital of Afghanistan. Close to 150,000 Afghans live in the UAE’s capital city. The Kabul-Abu Dhabi flight will operate on a fleet of Boeing 777-300’s from Terminal 2 at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Currently Safay Airways flies to Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait and also has a large domestic network.
