Abu Dhabi Duty Free Revenue Up 12.7 Percent

Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Duty Free announced that their revenues increased 12.7 percent in 2009 to more than AED500 million. ADAC said it is committed to growing further in 2010 and has forecast an 18 percent growth in turnover based on a projected 12 percent increase in passenger traffic. Numerous exclusive luxury brands were added to the retail offering at the airport in 2009 including Loewe, Fendi and Chloe, Hermes, and Jimmy Choo.
