ADTA Launches Partners In Progress To Meet Tourism Goals

The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) launched its ‘Partners In Progress’ first generation stakeholder program, in order to achieve its goal of attracting 2.3 million tourists by 2012. A launching ceremony was held at the Abu Dhabi Raha Beach Hotel and was attended by several hundred representatives from the tourism industry in Abu Dhabi. ADTA chairman Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan told the gathering the Partners in Progress program is an important new step in the tourism industry and brings together broad support for the ADTA. Shiekh Al Nahyan said “This campaign will bring us together to further co-operate in all we do and to ensure we speak with one voice.” Under the partnership program ADTA created five sub committees to develop the emirates tourism sector.
