The rapid expansion of airports in the UAE includes the addition of another concourse at Dubai International Airport. Passenger numbers are expected to reach 60 million by 2020. The Al Maktoum International airport is worth $8.1 billion and will be part of a mammoth logistics and cargo hub. It will be the world’s largest airport, having a capacity for 160 million passengers and over 12 million tones of cargo each year.
