American also announced it would launch new regional jet service from DFW to three domestic destinations, Fargo, North Dakota, Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas and Columbia, Missouri, starting on February 14th, 2013, utilizing its American Eagle regional affiliates.
“This announcement from our partners at American Airlines is great news for all DFW Airport passengers,” said Jeff Fegan, CEO of DFW International Airport. “We are seeing increasing interest for international service to the growing economies in South America and Asia, and we are pleased to see American Airlines meet that demand by investing more into their DFW hub.”
