Atlantis Hotel Occupancy Rate Nearly 100%

Occupancy rates at Dubai’s Atlantis Hotel nearly reached 100% even with many hotels experiencing big drops in revenues and tourist numbers. Atlantis Hotel General Manager said they are extremely happy with their outstanding business results. A survey by STR Global and Deloitte and Touche showed that hotel revenues during the first half of 2009 saw their biggest ever drop. Revenue per available room plummeted 35% and occupancy rates fell 12.9%. Zarzosa attributed the excellent performance by Atlantis Hotel to a strong local and global marketing campaign which began with its star studded grand opening last year.
