Royal Caribbean International’s Brilliance of the Seas will arrive at her new home in Dubai in 138 days. This will be Royal Caribbean’s first ship based in the Middle East. Business Tourism executive director said the main purpose of the Dubai Cruise Terminal building façade is to show “Dubai’s rich heritage as a maritime centre, present a strong positive image of UAE hospitality, and to express the importance of Dubai as an international tourist destination.” Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing predicts that 260,000 cruise liner passengers will pass through the emirate this year, and expects 383,000 next year.
