The Ocean Futures Company, founded by Jean-Michel Cousteau, is intended for children aged between four and twelve years. It provides classes that teach the importance of four principles - water; which emphasizes the importance of sea life and health, land; which encourages exploration and discovery, culture; which exposes young minds to a variety of art forms including music, cuisine local customs and history, and environmental responsibility; which promotes the environmental health of our planet for the future.
In addition to these informative classes, the Ritz Kids Camp is also available for the younger guests. The camp teaches children the right way to set up a tent, start a fire and learn how to withstand and survive in the wild. Dinner will also be held by the fire near the sea, followed by stargazing under a telescope, identifying the Abu Dhabi sky map.
